About The Authors Dr. W. Kim Halford is Professor of Clinical Psychology, and Director of the Psychological Health Research Centre in the School of Psychology at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. He completed a PhD in clinical psychology at LaTrobe University in 1979, and is a registered psychologist in Queensland. Kim has been active in research and practice of relationship education for over 20 years, and is an internationally known expert on couples research. He has written three previous books and over 120 research articles on couple relationships. He maintains an active psychological practice working with couples. Dr Keithia Wilson is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology in the School of Applied Psychology at Griffith University. She completed a PhD in psychology at the University of Queensland in 1990. Keithia has worked as an educator and consultant for a range of clients in the public, private and community sectors. Her research interests include factors affecting adults’ approaches to learning, understanding the dynamics of interpersonal conflict, and developing strategies that enable people to implement programs of self-managed change. Ms. Elizabeth Moore completed her B.Psych. (Hons) in 1996 and completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology at Griffith University in 2004. She is a registered psychologist in Queensland. Liz worked as the co-ordinator of the Couple CARE program for 4 years from 1997 to 2001. Ms. Carmel Dyer has an honors degree in psychology, and has worked as a research assistant on the Couple CARE project from its inception. Mr. Charles Farrugia completed his B. Psych. (Hons) in 1996 and is a registered psychologist in Queensland. He has worked as a relationship counsellor with Relationships Australia, and in his own private practice. Charles has worked as a relationship educator and researcher on the Couple CARE program since its inception. Mr. Kevin Judge is an audiovisual producer and director who works in the Office of Technical Services for Griffith University. Kevin has more than 15 years experience in production of educational DVD and video materials. Kevin coordinated and was co-producer with Kim Halford of the Couple CARE videotape and DVD.
